My grandfather, James Ralph Woodruff
| The research I have so far shows my ancestory originating in Chester County, Pennsylvania. My gggrandfather, Caleb Woodruff, is buried at the Faggs Manor Presbyterian Church in Cochranville, PA. He was born ABT 1782, perhaps in NJ (according to an 1880 Census Record). My gggrandfather, John Woodruff was born in Pennsylvania around 1820 or so.
It is rumored that these Woodruff's were of Scotch-Irish descent. The story I have been told is that
